The mellon head above was built in Photoshop. The object of the exercise was to learn the myiad ways of selecting objects from a picture and recombining them. There was also some basic image manipulation involced, like rotating and reszing; nothing fancy yet. The green hair is made of bunches of radishes, with only the tops of the greens showing as they are layered bhind the mellon.
